Our Business Policies
Our business runs on many different policies, some unwritten but most of them are listed below listed below. If you have any questions about our business policies or workings, please don't hesitate to ask.
Free Estimates
We do free visual estimates on everything before any work is done. When a package is sent to us, we'll contact you with a free estimate. The estimate will include work that is needed to be done, parts that you need to have to replaced (if any), and also work that can be done that will make your motor play at it's best. It will also include the return S/H/I that is payableby the owner of the phonograph.
The next step is to have you look at the estimate and then ask any questions that you may have. If you want us to do the whole estimate, then that is great. If you only want us to do part of the estimate, just to get the machine working again, then we'd be happy to work with you on that. No work will be done unless you approve it and ask us to do it.
If you decide to not have any work done, then we can hold the job for you until you are ready for us to do it or we can send the package back for you to keep in your possession. If you want the package back, then you don't have to pay for the estimate but you do have to pay for the return S/H/I.
Refunds / Exchanges
Refunds
We carry a 30 day money back guarantee on all parts sold. If you buy the wrong part, then it can be returned up to 30 days after receipt of the order. If you buy a part and the wrong part is mispicked and sent by us, then it can be returned up to 30 days after receipt of the order. It is recommended to check the order or repairs as soon as they are received so that any problems, if any, can be corrected as soon as possible. If anything needs to be returned after 30 days, then it will be carried as an in-store credit, as opposed to money sent back to the customer. This credit can be used on future orders or repairs.
Exchanges
If an exchange is needed, then we would treat it the same as the returns except you would have 6 months for the exchange to occur. The exchange would be for product of the same value at no additional cost. If an exchange is needed for a part that costs more money than the original part, then the customer will have to pay the difference. If an exchange is needed for a part that costs less money than the original part, then the customer will be refunded the difference.
Please keep in mind that in time, parts costs change. For example, a diamond stylus that costs $100 now, may cost $125 if and when an exchange may be needed (1 month or 2 months later). In this case, the customer will need to pay the difference eventhough they are exchanging the diamond for another diamond.
Payments For Repairs or Orders
Payment can be made a few different ways. The policy on payment is that all work must be paid for in full before it is sent back or delivered to the customer. If a lot ofwork is done and the bill is high, then payments can be made until the full bill is paid. Once the full bill is paid, then the repair will be sent to the customer. The same goes if the customer would like to buy a phonograph and make payments on it until it is paid. Work is sent out balance due only to dealers in our dealer network.
